Background

Belgravia Leisure operates three of Council’s Aquatic and Leisure centres.

The relationship workshop was held over a day with 16 senior managers from both organisations.

Role and Key outcomes delivered by DB Consulting

  • Designed and delivered a relationship workshop with Liverpool City Council and Belgravia Leisure

  • Pre-consultation with both organisations. Designed the format of the workshop to drive towards desired outcomes

  • Provided an opportunity to recognise the work done to date and celebrate key achievements of the partnership

  • Acted as a conduit to strengthen interpersonal relationships between key staff within both organisations

  • Cultivated the conditions for both organisations to reflect on their current performance through a process of self-reflection, providing feedback on one another’s performance

  • Facilitated agreement on key contract performance outcomes that support the achievement of the strategies contained in Council’s Recreation Road Map. Identified key resources that may support the achievement of the Road Map Objectives

  • Compiled a report with tangible actions and recommendations post-workshop
