Background

The City of Parramatta is improving the quality of its facilities and open space.

Council prepared a Dence Park Masterplan which was endorsed in December 2019 and included upgrades to Epping Creative Centre; Epping Aquatic Centre; and surrounding green and open space.

It is understood that Epping Aquatic and Leisure Centre will be redeveloped in 2025.

Role and Key outcomes delivered by DB Consulting

  • Partnered with the Sport, Leisure Culture Consultancy (UK) to deliver the commission

  • Provided operational revenue models to inform Council’s assessment of the Epping Aquatic and Leisure Centre redevelopment.

  • Developed several operating models based on different facility mix options
